2009-2010 Tennis Program Descriptions
Ladies 3.0 Clinic: This class runs twice a week with great demand. Ladies who are 3.0+ level or intermediate players are welcome to join in. We work on singles and doubles tactics as well as technique.
Ladies 3.0+ Doubles Round Robin: Ladies if you are looking for a regular game each week and meeting new players then try the round robin. Doubles and some singles matches are played, (only when there are odd numbers). Play consists of four 30 minute partner and opponent rotations.
Doubles Tactics and Match Play . Designed for every level of play, this clinic will work on all areas of you game with focus on strategy and point construction. Beginner and advanced players will get great tips to improve playing the game.
Cardio Tennis: If you like a great workout and are pressed for time, then this is for you. Focuses on conditioning rather than skill development. We bring out a boom box with fast paced energizing music to get you moving. You don’t have to a great player to enjoy this class.
Men’s Clinic: For players who might want to work on improving areas of they’re game or just want a good workout, then gentleman this is for you. The group is for players who are rated 3.5 and higher, who are intermediate/advanced level. We focus on technique as well as singles and doubles tactics.
Men’s 3.5-4.0 Round Robin: This round robin runs once a week and fills up very quickly. If you are an intermediate or advanced player and likes a good game of doubles then you should give this a try. This group is always on the lookout for new players to join in.
Video Clinic: Using the latest technology that only a few clubs in the country have. We will take video images of different parts of your game that you want to improve. We record the shot through our motion camera directly to a laptop hard drive, where we can analyze the image with you, pin pointing areas for advancement. This can be saved for future references. This is a great tool if you are a visual learner. See your game up close and personal
3.0 Mixed Doubles Round Robin: Same as our 3.5 Round Robin, intermediate players are welcome.
Open Lessons & Court Times: Times are available throughout the day to play with a group of friends or lessons with tennis pro.
